A Family & Community Story

Precita Social is more than just a restaurant; it’s a family and community story rooted in love, connection, and the power of food to bring people together.

It began in my mother’s kitchen, where I’d cook for her and her friends in our church kitchen. What started as a small gathering grew into a vibrant social event, with neighbors drawn in by the aroma of food and the warmth of shared laughter. My sister and her kids were always there, making it a true family affair. Those evenings taught me how food could unite people, create bonds, and foster belonging.

Precita Social is an extension of those cherished memories—a tribute to my parents and a celebration of the pride my mom, Viv, had in me as a chef. It’s about recreating that warm, welcoming atmosphere where food is the centerpiece of connection.

Our Vision

On August 15th, we’re opening Precita Social, a place where farm-to-table dishes blend Asian, French, and classic American flavors. We want to create a warm, welcoming space in San Francisco’s Bernal Heights where everyone can gather, celebrate, and enjoy life’s moments through food.

This journey is deeply personal. My mom was my biggest supporter, and Machi’s dad, Mack, was a passionate foodie. Together, we’re honoring their legacies by creating a place where food and community intersect.
